Artist's Description
We went to the game because it was the first one that Tim Tebow would play for the Fireflies in Columbia,SC. A long lens is good and I did manage to get this image of Tim just before his first at bat. He was batting 8th, so I did not expect to see him do much. The fans however were and remained on his side the full time he played here. They were terrific in support of him. Guess that means that real people know where it's at while the media have not a clue. Oh, and believe it or not he hit a home run at that at bat. Americana doesn't get any better than that. He is now playing for a team in Florida as he moves up in the minor leagues. Take care and good luck Tim.
